Xaloy's Czech Republic plant to start up in July

MODRICE, CZECH REPUBLIC, Feb. 24 -- Construction of a plant to make Xaloy high-performance screws for plastic machinery in Modrice near Brno, Czech Republic, is proceeding according to plans announced last October, the company has announced.
The roof and walls of the 58,000-sq-ft facility are up, and interior work is underway. Screw production is scheduled to begin in early July. Xaloy said a number of employees have already been hired. They are currently getting training and experience in Xaloy?s manufacturing procedures and systems at company facilities in Switzerland, the U.S., and Thailand.
Xaloy, based in Pulaski, VA, is a manufacturer of bimetallic barrels, high-performance screws, and nozzles.
