At xtrutech we manufacture all our wear resistant screw elements to the highest standards to ensure compatibility with original parts.
We offer parts for W&P, Leistritz, Berstorff, Theysohn, Prism, APV, Baker Perkins, Maris and Clextral equipment.

Our specialist knowledge, gained over many years of designing and manufacturing twin screw extruders with a number of major OEM's and working closely with our valued customers, means we are able to offer advice and Engineering solutions to your wear or corrosive problems.

We supply replacement barrel sections in either nitrided or through hardened tool steels with corrosive or abrasive resistant properties for the plastic's compounding, masterbatch, powder coating and food industries.
In cases of extreme wear, when processing plastics with additives and fillers your Twin Screw Extruder may need barrel liners manufactured from a CPM powder-metallurgy or even HIP'd materials.

We supply replacement barrels or up-grades in solid and clamshell barrels types for APV, Baker Perkins, Werner & Pfleiderer, Theysohn, Leistritz, Maris, Clextral, Buss, Berstorff, Betol, and Buhler Plus others.

At xtrutech we pride ourselves on providing a first class all round service. This service would not be complete without offering a spares service that covers all machine commodities, whether they are standard items or specials.

- Melt and control Thermocouples

Our experience has been built up on a cross section of different OEM machinery. We can service your breakdowns whether it is alignment, timing, gearbox or just general wear or a breakage. We can provide this service irrespective of machinery origin, age or size with minimal downtime.

Factory overhaul - xtrutech offer a partial or full overhaul and rebuild service. We have a fully equipped refurbishing workshop based in Stoke- on-Trent, Staffordshire. Refurbishing and up-grading an older extruder can be a cost-effective alternative to buying a new one.
Gearboxes for co-rotating Twin screw extruders require specialist knowledge. We can service or repair all major makes of gearbox including Flender, PIV and Hygate.

Our service Engineers have many years of experience on most makes of twin screw extruder from older Baker Perkins and W&P units to more modern APV, Coperian, Leistritz, Maris units and many more

Having trouble removing screw elements? - Why not send your shafts to xtrutech and let our experienced service engineers clean, strip and re-configure your screw elements with a fast and efficient turnaround. We will check your existing element for signs of cracking and severe wear and replace only as necessary.

Our experienced engineers can offer advice on screw profiles and process optimisation including barrel temperature profiles, mixing, venting, intake or feed throat problems and major screw profile changes. Whether your process is Powder Coating, Toners, Masterbatch, Compounding or Food.

Having trouble with blowing agents reacting in the barrel or under sized aluminium flakes and glass fibres too short? We can offer you a processing solution for any make or model of twin screw extruder. Is side feeding a problem? Richard Johnson Sales Director applies over 20 years of extruder experience from production, process and international sales with Baker Perkins, APV and more recently Theysohn TSK extruders. Richard has set his objectives on meeting customers on a regular basis, to review and understand their needs, making xtrutech more than just a supplier of replacement parts, but one that can also provide new cost effective solutions.
